Fish burger was so disappointing ☹️ Couldn’t finish it. They seem like nice people so it’s a shame the food doesn’t show the love. The chips were soggy, maybe their fryer needs upgrading? I dno.. post Covid I know things are hard but 18 bux for a meal that I could barely eat feels upsetting. Probably won’t come back.

Nice burger, average service yet super quick cooking and the price was to be expected. Asked for chilli got pineapple and bacon instead, wasn’t mad about it.

This is the last time I order from Ogalo. The food is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's great, other times it's dry, poorly put together. But what really annoyed me is that they accepted my online order, I waited over an hour and then they cancelled the order without explanation after I waited an hour. Last time I ever order from them.

Jumbo Ogalo is the Bomb! 💣💥
This shop has been around for years. I've always had a great service and the burgers are the best around. Well do to the owner to maintain this standard for some many years. …

The best chicken burger shop in the east if not Sydney, very good and friendly staff, the burgers fresh hot and chili the way it should be eaten, the chips are crunchy. More

Hadn't been to Ogalo's in over a decade, and upon eating my 'spicy' OG Ogalo burger I remembered why I haven't been in so long. OPORTOS DOES IT BETTER :). The bread, sauce, chicken, damn even the lettuce is nicer at Oportos. Not to say ogalo's is terrible. Its just very average and the chilli oil 'sauce' that should be lifting the burgers flavour profile is unfortunately extremely lackluster. The chips and customer service at this branch are fantastic so its a shame that the Ogalo franchise has locked them into such a boring menu.

The original and the best, have been coming here since they opened many years ago, recently renovated which is good.
Yeah its a bit grubby and dirty, yeah the service ain't the best, but i'm not paying for that i'm paying to sit there with dark sunglasses on wishing for my hangover to go away with a Jumbo Hot Ogalo burger and large heavily salted fries with a Sunkist whilst i judge people as they walk past.

Excellent tasting Portuguese Burger's 🍔😋, nice to finally find an Ogalos that taste this good compared to other branches and Oportos 👍. Thank you for keeping to the attention to details like fresh properly cooked chicken 🐔 and soft fresh bread buns 🍞. Not to mention fresh other ingredients as well 🌱
Keep up the great work!!

It’s difficult to rate any Ogalo store in Sydney less than 5 stars. This chain is exemplary when it comes to consistency of their flagship Hot Ogalo and Hot Jumbo burgers. As I’ve mentioned on other reviews if you’re dining at Ogalo ensure you stick to these two burgers, the rest of the range doesn’t stack up but their legendary chilli sauce is worthy of 5 stars every day of the week.

One of worst & disgusting food quality I have ever had in my life. they should close down if they don’t want to be in business. I went there couple of weeks ago ordered chicken and chips and the chicken was so dry feeling like cooked few days ago. Couldn’t believe it’s ogalo. They destroying the name and fame of ogalo.
Today I went there again and found the same thing.
Will never go there again.

I understand times are difficult at the moment, prices are high for everyone but to serve customers this is appalling. Never in my life seen chicken on a burger this small. A 5c coin is bigger. Blatantly ripping off the customers with the size of the chicken they are serving. $18.70 was the price.
Having read the number of negative reviews I shouldn’t be surprised at what I was served. Won’t be back.
